VP Points are a defined by a combination of variable. Every two weeks, you get one VP Point and every 100 posts you get one VP Point. There is a spot for it on the bottom of the profile, and there's a spot for munny too. For getting your application approved, you get 10 VP points. This is YOUR responsibility to do.
